I am thrilled to announce the launch of this year’s Portsmouth North Small Business Awards! Our city is home to a wealth of outstanding small businesses that play a vital role in our community, and contribute millions of pounds to the local economy.
I want to recognise their contributions and celebrate Portsmouth’s small businesses! You can nominate your favourite small business in our area across a variety of categories:
Best Shop: From the friendly corner shop to delightful bakeries, this award honours the shop that captures the heart of our community and keeps us coming back for more.
Best Health, Beauty, and Leisure: Celebrate the businesses that prioritise our well-being, whether it’s the local gym or the hairdressers and nail bar that gives us that perfect look, making us feel fabulous inside and out.
Best Trade Services: Nominate your go-to tradie, whether it’s the reliable plumber who saves the day or the skilled electrician or the go to mechanic, recognising those who provide exceptional service.
Best Hospitality Business: Help me find the ultimate local hangout, whether it’s the pub with the perfect pint or the takeout spot that makes Friday nights.
Best Professional Services: From trusted accountants, the maths tutor or your solicitor, this category celebrates those who provide invaluable expertise.
The deadline for nominations is December 1st, and I will personally visit each winner on Small Business Saturday, December 7th, to present them with their award.
