Help shape the future of taxi and private hire licensing Taxi and private hire drivers provide an essential service to our communities. Every day, drivers take people to work and hospital appointments, support local businesses, transport children with SEND and help people get home safely.

There are currently 263 licensing authorities in England, with different rules, costs and standards.

The Government is considering changes to the taxi and private hire licensing system. I want to hear directly from you about your experiences and the changes you would like to see.

Your views will help inform work in Parliament and contribute to discussions about how licensing could be made fairer, safer and more effective for drivers and passengers.
